What is a citrus fragrance?

Citrus fragrances open with the zest of bergamot, lemon, mandarin, orange or grapefruit. These materials are fresh and uplifting but naturally volatile, so modern citrus perfumes are often anchored with woods, musk or herbs to help them last longer on skin.

When to wear it
