About resins

Resins and balsams are aromatic saps collected from trees and shrubs: benzoin, labdanum, myrrh, elemi, styrax and frankincense among them. They give a fragrance warmth, sweetness and a slow, glowing depth, and are the building blocks of the amber accord.
