About lavender

Lavender oil, distilled from flowering tops grown in Provence and elsewhere, smells fresh, herbal and slightly floral with a soft camphor note. It is the heart of the classic fougère structure and has recently become popular in warmer, sweeter compositions with vanilla and tonka.
